Orlando is the Vice President of Construction & Design for SkyPalace at Mary Brickell Village. With more than twenty years in the construction industry and fifteen years of experience in South Florida, Orlando understands what projects have the required elements of success. He has extensive experience handling all aspects of development, construction management, planning and architecture. While working for some of the most prestigious architectural firms in Miami, he has been involved in fifteen high-rise condominium developments that amount to 4,500 units with a sell-out value of over $2 billion (US).

Prior to joining SkyPalace at Mary Brickell Village as Vice President of Construction and Design, Orlando’s professional experience between 1988 and today includes President of CARRILLO & ASSOCIATES; Construction Manager for THE RELATED GROUP; Project Manager/Construction Manager for SKYLINE ON BRICKELL; Construction Administrator for NICHOLS BROSCH SANDOVAL & ASSOCIATES; Project Manager for ROBERT M. SWEDROE; Project Manager for FORBES CONSTRUCTION & DEVELOPMENT/ FORBES ARCHITECTS; Project Architect for FULLERTON DIAZ ARCHITECTS, INC.

Some of the most notable high-rise condominium developments that Orlando has worked on include Las Olas Beach Club, a 30-story condominium tower in Fort Lauderdale; Lauderdale Beach Hotel, a historical restoration of this 1936 Roy France hotel in Fort Lauderdale; Skyline on Brickell, a 35-story tower on Brickell Avenue, Miami; Toscano, a 25 story, 655,000 square foot condominium with 396 units and Rooms to Go across from Dadeland Mall, Miami; Marbella Condominiums on Jacksonville Beach; Esplanade on The New River in Ft. Lauderdale; Acqualina on Sunny Isles; Las Olas Grand in Ft. Lauderdale; Bella Mare on Williams Island; St. Barth on the beaches of Destin; Murano @ Portofino, Murano Grande and Icon on South Beach; Continuum on South Beach; The ShoreClub on Miami Beach; The Palms in Ft. Mr. Carrillo was born in Bethesda, MD and grew up in Fairfax County, Virginia. He studied Architecture, Urban Affairs & Planning and InteriorDesign at Virginia Tech.
